Our process

How the comparison guidance works.

We help you organise the questions that should be answered before you choose a mobile plan. We do not present ourselves as a network or guarantee a particular result.

1. Start with your actual needs

Think about your existing handset, monthly data use, preferred contract length, international use, hotspot needs, accessibility requirements and budget. A larger allowance is not automatically better if you will not use it.

2. Compare the whole agreement

Check the total minimum cost, any upfront payment, recurring charge, expected price variation, minimum term, data restrictions, speed limits, roaming terms, fair-use terms, upgrade rules and early termination conditions.

3. Check coverage independently

Coverage can vary by postcode, building and device. Use the relevant provider’s current coverage checker and review indoor as well as outdoor coverage where possible. We do not guarantee signal quality.

4. Understand who is supplying the service

Before agreeing to anything, make sure you know the legal identity of the seller or provider, who will bill you, who will provide customer service and whether a separate device finance agreement is involved.

5. Confirm the final details

Ask for the final price and terms in a durable form before entering a contract. Do not rely only on a verbal headline or an example. Check your cancellation rights and any return process.
